Ashok is a civil engineer experienced in a broad range of engineering specialties within the civil, geotechnical and structural engineering fields.  His expertise includes civil infrastructure design, tower engineering and offshore oil & gas works.  He also has experience in the structural design of foundations and retaining walls, construction monitoring and asset condition assessment.

Ashok then honed his civil/structural skills while working for some of the country’s largest engineering consultancies in New Zealand, Australia and Canada.

As External Project Advisor – New Zealand, Ashok brings his practical and technical civil/structural experience to lead and develop project management and project quality. He enjoys technical challenges and encourages his diverse team to think outside the square.

Ashok is constantly looking for new challenges and applications for his skillset and he is also proud to hold his undergraduate in Civil Engineering from VTU University, Mangalore and his double master’s in structural & civil engineering from SRM University, Chennai and from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.
