Job Description

Take full responsibility for complete checking of steel detailing projects as per the contract drawings, using TEKLA Structures in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and company engineering procedures, to enable the successful execution of the project.

•Check 3D models, GA/erection drawings and fabrication drawings, ensuring there are zero errors

•Check the connection possibilities and feasibility as per the standards

•Check the structure is erectable, and look for other field-related issues, such as field welding

•Ensure the drawings submitted to clients are accurate and per client specifications, standards and requirements

•Prepare RFIs and review the RFI responses related to the project

•Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

•Good eye for detail

•Coordinate with all team members to execute the project with zero errors and submit it on time

Qualifications and Experience:

•B.E / B.Tech / Diploma (Civil or Mechanical) from a reputed university

•More than 5 years of experience in steel detailing

•Knowledge of TEKLA Structures

•Have experience in miscellaneous structures of industrial and commercial building projects

•Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, drafting standards and practices

•Deep knowledge of engineering codes
